    Product Specifications & FAQs

    Are these plates road legal?
These plates are sold as Show Plates. In the UK, only vehicles built before January 1st, 1980, that are registered in the 'Historic' tax class are legally permitted to use Black & Silver plates on public roads. For all other vehicles, these are intended for off-road use and displays.
What is the difference between the fonts?
The Serck font is a heritage-style typeface with unique shapes (like the rounded '3') popular in the 60s. The Classic font is the wider style used throughout the 80s and 90s. Charles Wright is the current condensed font used on modern UK plates.
How do I apply the Vinyl Stick-On plates?
Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free of wax. Apply from one side to the other slowly to avoid bubbles. The laminate allows the vinyl to contour perfectly to the curves of a bonnet or bumper.
Will the Magnetic plates stay on while driving?
Magnetic plates are designed for stationary use at shows or exhibitions. We do not recommend using them while the vehicle is in motion at high speeds.
Are the 3D Gel plates durable?
Yes. Our 3D Gel characters use premium polyurethane resin that is UV-resistant and flexible. They won't yellow over time and are built to withstand jet washing and extreme weather.
