How to order show plates online
- Choose the right product. Use the builder for a registration-style plate, or select the logo or showroom product for your project.
- Check your design and size. Review the lettering, chosen options and displayed total. Pro Plates makes physical plates; we do not sell registration numbers.
- Confirm your instructions and custom spacing. We can make your show plates with custom spacing. Leave your instructions in the basket’s order notes, specifying the gap in millimetres and exactly which letters or numbers it should sit between—for example, “Leave a 20 mm gap between AB12 and CDE.” Our production team will use these instructions when preparing your layout; the online preview may not show the exact spacing. Confirm your registration and any other custom requests too. If no spacing is specified, we use legal spacing.
- Review delivery before paying. Check the available delivery options at checkout. If you have an event deadline, contact us before ordering.

What are show plates?
Show plates are decorative plates for shows, showrooms, photoshoots and personal displays. They can feature styling that is unsuitable for a road-use registration plate. Choose a design to suit its display purpose.
Can I use show plates on the road?
Decorative show plates are not a substitute for compliant registration plates on public roads. A preview or legal spacing alone does not establish road suitability. See the official number plate rules and choose our dedicated road-legal product for a standard replacement.
Can I order one plate rather than a pair?
Yes. In the builder, use the Front & Back selector to choose a pair, Front or Back. Check your selection, dimensions and total before adding to the basket.
How much do show plates cost?
The price depends on the product, plate selection and options. The builder shows a total as you customise; review the final basket total before checkout.
Can I use my own logo or request a different layout?
Use our custom-logo product to supply artwork. If your project needs a particular size or layout, send the details through our contact page before ordering so we can confirm what is possible.
